Gulf Coast Midstream Selects Engineering Partners for Nash Storage Hub FEED Phase

Gulf Coast Midstream Partners, LLC is pleased to announce the selection of Audubon Companies and Atwell, LLC to perform Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) services for the facilities and pipeline scope of the Nash Storage Hub project.

The Nash Storage Hub is being developed to set a new standard for natural gas storage on the lower Texas Gulf Coast, combining cutting-edge infrastructure design, advanced operational technology, and best-in-class safety and environmental performance. When complete, the Nash Storage Hub is expected to be the most modern, state-of-the-art storage facility in the region, providing unmatched reliability and flexibility to Gulf Coast energy markets.

Audubon brings extensive experience in midstream facilities engineering, while Atwell's proven pipeline design capabilities make them an ideal partner for this critical scope of work. Together, they will lead the engineering studies and design development necessary to advance the project toward a final investment decision.

In conjunction with these announcements, Gulf Coast Midstream Partners has also selected SubTerra USA - Cavern Solutions to lead FEED services for the cavern development scope of the project, rounding out a world-class team of engineering partners committed to delivering this landmark facility.

"We are excited to have assembled such a talented and experienced group of engineering firms to advance the Nash Storage Hub," said Hugo Guerrero, Chief Operating Officer of Gulf Coast Midstream Partners. "These selections reflect our commitment to developing infrastructure that will serve Gulf Coast energy markets with the highest levels of performance, safety, and reliability for decades to come."

The Nash Storage Hub is the first greenfield natural gas storage facility in twenty years to be developed within the 400-mile coastal plain between the Trinity River east of Houston and the Rio Grande River at the Mexican border.

In June 2025, Gulf Coast Midstream Partners, LLC received authority from the Railroad Commission of Texas to develop and operate two underground salt storage caverns in Fort Bend County, TX under Statewide Rules 95 and 97.
